The Villuendas NePhuzz is a signature-series pedal created for Carlos Nebot (carlosnebotmusic.es). Its circuit is authentically Fuzz Face–inspired, built around hand-picked, precisely calibrated silicon transistors. Silicon offers greater stability and consistency than germanium, and the meticulous selection and calibration in the NePhuzz give these silicon devices a remarkably germanium-like response.The pedal delivers a wide tonal range—from Hendrix-style saturated fuzz to smooth, soft-clipping warmth—with excellent volume cleanup. A dedicated bias control lets you fine-tune the character and feel of the fuzz to match your playing. The bass version has an extra knob to recover bass frequencies, allowing to use the pedal as a clean bass preamp too.
